Design, Winding and Assembly in One Facility
ATECELECTRIC manufactures transformers and power reactors in Ansan, Republic of Korea. Electrical design, core and coil manufacturing, zig-zag winding, cabinet assembly, control circuit wiring and final testing are carried out in the same facility.
This is why PECO Powersaver can be configured per project rather than sold from a fixed catalogue — the enclosure, the protection arrangement and the winding are all made by the same people.

Company established. Manufacturing of transformers and power reactors begins.

Production of zig-zag autotransformers for energy saving begins, initially as OEM and subcontract manufacturing.

PECO Powersaver launched with in-house electrical design and enclosure.

Third-party attestation obtained from TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH, covering the complete range from 100 to 3,000 kVA.

Korean Patent No. 10-2546570 registered for the zig-zag winding architecture.

Supplied to hotels, commercial buildings and industrial facilities in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and South America.
How a Unit Is Built
Every unit is tested before shipment. Test records are retained and delivered with the unit, together with the product manual carrying the serial number, measured efficiency and rated values for that specific transformer.
